This course is designed to inform the learners of policies, practices, laws, regulations, and human nature directly affect workers in business and industry.  For educators, the class will concentrate on how these factors affect the classroom and school laboratories.  The course will explore types of accidents and injuries, how they occur, how they can be prevented, how to process an accident after it has occurred, how to interpret laws and regulations, and the language of health and safety.
